In August, 2007 Nokia announced to add another model to their XpressMusic series and that was “Nokia 5610 Xpress Music”, and in October 2007 it was available in market for use. But what is so special about this phone? Well I can say that just the weight of 111 gram and the size of 98.5 x 48.5 x 17 mm, 75 cc, the Nokia 5610 XpressMusic features dual band WCDMA 3G technology for fast and easy downloads and net browsing, and quad band GSM capability for worldwide connectivity on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and (WCDMA 850/2100) or (WCDMA 850/1900) for some regions; not only this the phone has screen resolution of240 x 320 pixels and screen colour depth of 24 bits. With the internal memory of 20M.B we can save 2000 entries in its phonebook and it has ROM Memory of 64 MB, and RAM Memory 32 MB and can use up to 4G.B micro SD card in its card slot.


With its 3.2 megapixels (flash & autofocus) / 2048 x 1536 px camera with 8x zoom it has a video recording frame rate of 15fps and we can also have Video Player, Video Recorder, Video Ringtones, Video Streaming in this set. It has varieties of graphic format like Graphic Formats, BMP, GIF87a, GIF89a, JPEG, PNG, and WBMP. It also has vibration; downloadable polyphonic, MP3, MP4, WMA, AAC, video tones ringtone for audio alerts along with loud speakers making its multimedia section beautiful.


We can use Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, Micro USB, Nokia AV 2.5mm, Nokia microUSB Cable CA-101, USB 2.0 for local connectivity, it runs on the Li-Ion 900 mAh (BP-5M) battery up to 320 hours of standby and 6 hours of talk time and its 240 x 320 px, 2.2″, TFT LCD is also quiet amazing. It also have the facilities of SMS, MMS, Email, Instant Messaging, WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML (Opera mini) browser, radio, games, Java technology , Nokia sensor, World Clock II, Converter II, Predictive text input, Stopwatch, Voice memo/commands. But it has complaints about its lcd and it also doesn’t have GPS system, WLAN, Infrared port, but still it is a good buy in the price range of 9000- 10500 rs.
