Are you eager to buy an I-Pad for your own and your pocket is not permitting you to do so? Money will not appear as a barrier to fulfill your wish as the Indian cheap $35 i-Pad is going to be launched in the market in next year.

 

On 23rd July, 2010 Indian Human Resource Development (HRD) Kapil Sibal made public the news of developing a cheap i-Pad primarily targeted for students. According to the HRD ministry the device is expected to be launched in next year at $35 per piece and is also hoped that the price will gradually fall down to $20 and ultimately to $10 a piece. The device is designed by the top IITs. The i-Pad has no hard disk. Like a mobile phone it uses internal flash storage or memory card and the device can be driven by solar power too. “It will have video web-conferencing, multimedia content viewer, PDF, DOCs, ODS, ADP. It has a searchable PDF reader, an unzip tool for unzipping files. It also features a media player capable of playing streamed and as well as stored media files, internet browsing with fraction plug, Java script, wireless communication for audio-video, cloud computing action, remote devices management capability.” said Sibal.

 

The announcement has created a buzz throughout the world and the whole world is eagerly waiting for it.
